Ask the clinicDo I need a referral to book?
No. You can book directly with any specialty at Lavora. If you are not certain which specialty is right for your concern, tell our coordinators what you have noticed and they will direct you to the appropriate consultant.
Do you work with insurance?
Coverage depends on your insurer, your individual policy and the specific service. Some services at Lavora are covered by some policies and others are not. Contact the clinic with your insurance details before your appointment and our team will check your eligibility and explain any costs in advance.
Will I be asked to see several specialists?
Only if there is a clinical reason. Most patients are seen by one specialty for one concern. Where your physician believes another specialty would genuinely add something, they will explain why before anything is arranged.
What happens at a first consultation?
An unhurried consultation with the consultant: your history, what you have noticed, and what you want to address. Any investigations are explained before they are arranged, and nothing is treated on a first visit without discussion.
How private is my visit?
Entirely. Our clinic is designed for discretion, your records are confidential, and nothing about your visit is shared outside your clinical team without your consent.
Do you see international patients?
Yes. We regularly see patients travelling to Dubai. Contact us in advance and our coordinators will help schedule your consultation and any investigations within your dates.
Is care available in Arabic?
Yes. Our clinical and coordination teams include Arabic speakers. Let us know your preference when you book.
